Elia is Top Toller Puppy 2023

Elia stays at Afonbach and we start to plan training and shows for the Autumn and Winter.

Sansa gave birth to her second litter on 5th July , 2022. We are very grateful to Michelle at Tollelkin for allowing us to use Quentin,  as sire for her last litter.

We had a fabulous long weekend camping at the Toller Funday, organised by the Toller Club Of GB.  Neo, Afonbach Red Fire, was there too! 

☀️ On a lovely sunny Saturday , in May at The Birmingham National Ch Shiw, Sansa won Veteran Bitch, Best Veteran in Breed and the Bitch RCC under judge Arne Foss (Norway). ☀️ In April Rhaegar won Reserve Bed Dog at WELKS under breed specialist Marina White.☀️

🌸 Shortly after Crufts was the Club CC show, Rhaegar’s Puppies did well under their Tollisty affix and we look forward to following their show careers, for the Afonbachs, Neo came 2nd in Junior dog and 1st in novice. Rhaegar won another Open dog class, which was an excellent result, and Sansa won VHC in Veteran bitch.

🏆At Crufts , we had some nice placings, Neo, Afonbach Red Fire, won 4th in Junior Dog, Sansa won 3rd Veteran Bitch and Tandae, Afonbach First Sign O’ Spring At Deltandamba JW won VHC in Junior Bitch.

🌺 February 6th, some of the ninjas went to Merseyside Gundog Open Show, Rhaegar won 1st Open Dog in a strong class and RBOB, Arya came 2nd in Limit and Sansa won Reserve Best Veteran In Show. 

🎉 . In January 2022 Caroline and Tandae, Afonbach First Sign O’ Spring At Deltandamba JW earned her Junior Warrant Title and her Stud Book Number. So proud of this team. ⭐️

🥇29th January, At Lichfield CS Open Show , Rhaegar won Best Of Breed and Sansa won 2nd AV Gundog Veteran , gaining her first 3 points towards  her Veteran Warrant Title.

Sansa - 1st Limit Bitch

SEPTEMBER

1st September - At City of Birmingham Ch Show, Sansa wins 1st Limit Bitch and Rhaegar wins 1st postgrad dog and Reserve Best Dog.

15th September - At Darlington Ch Show , Rhaegar wins 1st Postgrad dog, Sansa 2nd Limit Bitch, Rain 1st Limit Bitch, 2nd Open Bitch and the Bitch RCC, which means Rain also has her Stud book number and is qualified for Crufts for life. 

28th September - Rhaegar wins 1st in Open & BOB, Arya wins 1st in graduate at Pwllheli show.

29th September - Rhaegar 1st Postgrad & RBOB, Arya 2nd Postgrad, Sansa 2nd Open.

AUGUST

3rd August - Sansa wins her 2nd CC under Frank Kane at Paignton 

4th August - at National Gundog Arya and Rhaegar both win their classes and compete in the challenge,

7th August - at United Retriever Rhaegar is awarded his first RCC by Jeff Horswell.

18th August - at WKC CC show under Breed Specialist, Sally Parr Rhaegar and Rain both win their postgrad classes and go into the challenge. 

26th August - Rhaegar qualifies at Leicester for the JW Competirion Semi Finals At excel, London.

FEBRUARY

Arya wins her final point for her Junior Warrant Title and Stud Book Number. Making us the first owners to have two dogs with a JW title in the breed, so special as they are both bred by us from our very first litter.

JANUARY

Sansa received her KC Show Certificate of Merit Title. Only the second Toller Bitch to ever receive the award. She is now officially Danehaven Vermilion For Afonbach ShCM.

Only 64 Dogs & 64 Puppies from the whole of Wales are chosen to compete!

March

25th  - Rhaegar wins Best Puppy In Show & Arya wins Reserve Best Puppy In Show at the NSDTR Club Ch. Show! The first time that the same owner has won Best Puppy Dog and Best Puppy Bitch at the Show. Many thanks to the judge Mr Mick Howes for thinking so highly of both our puppies.

24th - Rhaegar wins NSDTR Graduate , Best Puppy in Breed and Gundog Puppy Group 2, Arya 2nd in Graduate and 2nd AV Gundog Puppy, and Sansa wins BOB, Rosie wins AV Pastoral Veteran Group 2 at Llandudno Open Show.
